Make your page clear at a glance

Use the title, short message and cover to answer the first question quickly.

Your page has only a few seconds to make sense in a directory. A visitor should be able to tell what you are showing, who it is for and why they might open the link. Put the specific thing in the title; use the short message for the useful detail that does not fit there.

Imagine a small tool that turns receipts into a monthly spending summary. “Spend less, live more” leaves the visitor guessing. “Turn receipts into a monthly spending summary” tells them what the tool does. The message can then say who it helps and what the destination contains, such as a working demo or a clear explanation.

Check the page preview at phone width. If the cover contains words too small to read, let the title carry the explanation instead. Then show the preview to someone who has not seen your project and ask them to describe it. If their answer misses the point, simplify the title or message before submitting.

Campaign measurement · off

May we measure which campaigns bring visits and purchases? Optional first-party measurement uses a 30-minute visit cookie and retains campaign records for 30 days. No advertising pixels. Saying no does not affect publishing or voting.

Turning it off removes this browser’s current visit and its publication links. Older records expire automatically; linked records are also removed on account deletion. Browser privacy signals are respected.
